Cornwall - Places to Jetboard

Some of the great places to Jetboard in Cornwall

Carlyon Bay - St.Austell

1.31 KM And beyond of just open beach. Parking 80 steps above on the cliffs, can get full if too late in the day. Disabled blue badge can park near beach (no steps) for free.

Carlyon Bay is a great beach and in the summer there is a good bar/snacks place for beverages and Hot food. Jet ski hire also on the left side which is run by https://www.cornwallwaverunnersafaris.co.uk/activities/jet-ski-taster-session/

Yongsters call it "C-BAY" and although the sand is coarse the shelf as you walk into to the sea is quite steepyou dont have to go far in to be in deep water. There is a river that feeds out from the cliffs part way down but a short walk up the beach and there is a bridge to cross easy as can sink in if you try to cross near the sea. Also you will see a Large stack rock outcrop which has a few rocks around so give it a wide birth near lower tides.

Also a good note is its a nudist beach on the far Right hand side so be aware.

Parking is currently £2 for all Day and with food and drink available can make for a good day out.

Charlestown - St.Austell

Popular Harbour and easy to park, quite close to the beaches. They are not sandy beaches but stones You can launch both sides of the harbour but i would advise the right as there was walkways that go out to sea and will be water hazzards. Pubs on the harbour and a webcam listed above. Easy to launch from here and go to the left and you have Carlyon Bay - Spit beach - Par Beach - Polkerris Harbour. Go to the right and Duporth Beach - Porthpean and onto high cliffs and a few beached only accesable by sea - Silvermine and the beach next to it ( not sure of its name).

Fisherman are casting from the harbour walls so give them a wide berth.
