My Mako jetboard is out of action - Carbs loose

Writer's picture: jetboardcornwalljetboardcornwall

Brand new and carbs have not been attached correct and worked loose. There should be a locktite applied to the screws and correct torque, this process must have been missed on my model. Spoke with Mako and they are sending "Dan"down to fix the very next day ( that`s good service for you) Speaking to Mako they have stated the engines are sent with the carbs already attached and not assembled at the mako factory. I purchased a Mako for this kind of product support and they delivered. Dan fixed it the next day and we took the board to Carlyon bay for a test. Stopped a few times on me at 1/2 Throttle and maybe a slight tune tweak, will see how it performs over the next few outings.
